Aldridge Lodge has daily changing dinner menus, using the best in local and home-grown produce, and has been awarded many prestigious awards. Amongst their many awards, Billy has been named as the Seafood Chef of the Year at the 2013 Georgina Campbell Awards, Best Leinster Chef 2011 & 2014 by the Irish Restaurant Awards & Joanne was named Best Restaurant Manager Leinster 2014 by the Irish Restaurant Awards, while we have held the Michelin Bib Gourmand since 2007. Most recently we have been awarded two AA Rosettes for food & 4 AA Diamonds for our guest accommodation.

Our secluded gardens provide a tranquil sanctuary for those looking to relax. You can see Jacob Sheep, Highland Cattle (the ones with the curly horns) and Fallow Deer in the nearby paddocks around the house. Wexford is known as “The Sunny South East” and definitely is one of Ireland’s best kept secrets where the sun shines at some stage every day!!
Marsh Mere Lodge is located in a very scenic area on Waterford harbour. We are only 2km from the Passage East Car Ferry which links our area of County Wexford with County Waterford making Marsh Mere an ideal base from which to visit the coastline of both sides of the harbour where there are numerous beaches, seaside villages, golf courses, cafes, bars and restaurants. Marsh Mere is nine miles from historic Waterford City by way of the Passage East Car Ferry. As well as experiencing the natural beauty of the area there are many places of interest to visit.
Seashells offers the perfect base for your holiday in the Sunny South East of Ireland. The 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms are all on the first floor, as are the lounge and breakfast area. The bedrooms are bright, spacious,en-suite rooms with large windows and lots of natural sunlight. They are simply decorated with timber floors and cream furnishings giving a fresh clean feel to the house.Our guest rooms are splendidly complemented by the beautiful lounge area which has a wall of glass looking directly out onto Duncannon beach and the surrounding coastline, with the Hook Lighthouse visible on the horizon. This is where evenings are spent watching local fishing boats and passing ships, or simply relaxing, enjoying the evening sunset and listening to the calming sounds of the sea. This room has a well stockedhospitality tray, help yourself to hot drinks and sweet treats, and also there is a TV for the occasional catch up or news update.
